A wallet behind every lantern. Support you can see, not just a number on a chart.
Fuel.
Commitment measured in SOL. The bigger the pledge, the brighter the glow.
Burn time.
A clear term and a visible return date. Every lantern knows when it comes home.
Make it personal
There's a lantern with your name on it.
Choose how much SOL to pledge and how long to stay. Your lantern card keeps every detail together.
Between 0.1 and 10,000 SOL in this demo.
In the proposed design, your SOL stays yours — it stays locked for the term you choose, then you reclaim it.

COMPLETEThe LANTERN principle
A token has holders. A beginning has lanterns.
A lantern is lit by someone who chooses to show up. Each pledge has a wallet, an amount and a term. Together they give a new token a public story of support from the very first night.
The festival
Every pledge is in the sky.
Hover or tap a lantern to see who lit it, how much, and for how long. Example lanterns — none of these exist.
Example data for illustration. Lantern size follows the size of the pledge.

Questions, answered plainly.
What does pledging mean?
A pledge is a time-bound commitment of SOL to a token. It makes the amount, the pledging wallet and the term visible to everyone. It does not buy tokens and does not promise a return.
Does the token creator receive my SOL?
In the proposed design, pledged SOL sits in a lock account for the term you choose. The creator cannot spend it; you reclaim it after the return date. This mechanism is a concept — nothing is built yet.
What happens when the term ends?
You can reclaim the committed SOL. Your finished pledge stays in the token's public history, so a lantern that burned its full term is remembered.
What are the risks?
Locked SOL cannot be used elsewhere during the term, smart contracts can contain bugs, and the token you back may lose all its value. Pledge only what you can afford to lock up.
Where things stand
LANTERN is a concept. This page is the only thing that exists — no program, no audit, no token and no address. Anything calling itself a live LANTERN today is not us.
